“There is always a certain kind of tension that exists between the way I see, and what exists in front of me. I think most photography falls in that area, between the photographer’s eye or the photographer’s vision, and the content, the subject matter out there.”
– Alex Webb
I never know what to expect from a wedding, I know people are happy and excited about it all when going through the day. But every moment is always a surprise even if I know the conditions and what’s going to normally take place. The couple dancing is a certainty, but the way they do it and the way I react is always different. I love how Nuno’s size shows security while holding Vera even when doing the most acrobat dance stunts on the dance floor. Despite all the tension from the moment there is a sweetness in the way he cares for little details like holding the dress.
